Hollywood Poker has a variety of games, featuring the most popular, Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, seven card stud, seven card stud Hi/Lo and five card draw. As well as fixed limit games Texas hold’em also has the choice of fixed limit and pot-limit, with limits ranging from 25c up to $600. There are a large variety of tournaments that can be entered through the website, including a weekly celebrity hosted tournament. The average number of players at peak times is between 3500-4500 at the tables and 13000-15000 in tournaments, making Hollywood Poker one of the largest player bases.

Navigation
The site is easy to navigate with clear headings and descriptions. The graphics for the table are clear, though personally I did not like the animated characters. Hollywood Poker does have the handy option of player notes, so if you come up against a player again, you can look at any games notes you made on them last time, and statistical analysis, so you can find out if there have been any trends in both your opponents and your game. The lobby shows the type of table, limit, and number of players at a glance. For full statistics the individual tables must be clicked on. Hollywood poker is one of a handful of poker sites that offers both download poker rooms and instant play poker for Mac and Linux users.

Bonuses/Promotions
Hollywood Poker’s offers a choice of five bonuses. The first is a sign up deposit bonus of 500% up to $1000. There is an allowance of 60 days to clear your bonus, with $1 being earned for every 17 poker points required, and it is released in $50 increments. The second is a 100% bonus of up to $100, 12 points are needed to earn each $1 and there are 30 days in which to earn them, none of the bonus will be released until all of it has been earned. The third is 100% deposit bonus up to $75, 10 points are needed to earn each $1, and it none of it will be released until all of the bonus has been earned within 30 days. The fourth is a 100% deposit bonus of up to $50, there are 30 days in which to earn the equivalent of 9 points per $1, and all of the bonus has to be earned before it can be released. Points are earned depending on the amount of the rake taken; this starts at 0.07 points for a rake of 10c-19c up to 2.10 points for a rake a $3 (the full sliding scale can be viewed on the website). Or alternatively they can be earned through tournaments fees, 5 points are awarded for every $1 paid in tournament fees.
