Summary
Eurobet Poker is operated by the Ongame group on the Poker Network. Its links to a Casino and Sports betting means that there is a lot of traffic, mainly concentrated on Texas Hold’em and the tournaments. While there are plenty of soft games for the less experienced player, there is a good spread of players across the various limits, making this a good site for those who like tougher competition and higher stakes.
Games
Eurobet Poker has a variety of games, featuring the most popular, Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, seven card stud, seven card stud Hi/Lo and five card draw. As well as fixed limit games Texas hold’em also has the choice of no-limit and pot-limit. There are a large variety of tournaments that can be entered through the website, as well as the option to create your own private tournament. The average number of players at peak times is between 3500-4500 at the tables and 13000-15000 in tournaments, making Eurobet Poker one of the largest player bases.
Navigation
The site is easy to navigate with clear headings and descriptions. There is a choice of 15 languages, which is bound to make it popular with many European players. The graphics for the table are clear, though personally I did not like the animated characters, and it is not a good site for multi-play. Eurobet Poker does have the handy option of player notes, so if you come up against a player again, you can look at any games notes you made on them last time, and statistical analysis, so you can find out if there have been any trends in both your opponents and your game. The lobby shows the type of table, limit, and number of players at a glance. For full statistics the individual tables must be clicked on. Eurobet is one of a handful of poker sites that offers both download poker rooms and instant play poker for Mac and Linux users.
Bonuses/Promotions
Eurobet Poker’s offers a choice of bonuses. The first is a sign up deposit bonus of up to $600. Depending on what level you sign up at (beginner, casual, regular, pro), effects both the bonus amount you qualify for ($50 - $600) as well as the number of points needed to release it (350 – 9000), and the time given to earn it (30 – 45 days). The other option is the monthly reload bonus. This can only be signed up once you are no longer working towards the sign up bonus. Once you have deposited $25 in your account, and signed up to the bonus you will have 30 days in which to earn 250 points, and receive a $25 bonus. Points are awarded at a rate of .07 points for every 10c of rake at a table game (so in order to earn 1 point the rake must be $1.43), or 5 points for every $1 of tournament entry fees paid.
Rake
Eurobet Poker has a rake of 5% up to a maximum of $3.
