As part of the Boss Network Celeb Poker has a large shared player base, which continues to grow quickly. There are about 1300-1400 players at tables at peak times and 2600 – 2800 at the tournaments. Celeb Poker’s unique selling point is that you can play against celebrities. However, if this your main reason for joining this website you may be disappointed as there is a limited number, of mainly British celebrities, and there are no guarantees of when or how often they will play.
A useful feature of Celeb Poker is that the download is now available in four languages, English, German, Spanish, and Turkish. In the lobby it is also possible to see the different currencies of each table, from US dollars to Turkish lire.
Celeb poker has its own poker school, featuring live lessons from the pros, and tips from Lou Diamond Phillips as well as the rules of the games and FAQs. The software allows you to multi-table up to 5 (providing your screen can fit them on clearly), and the timer for each hand helps you to see how long you have left to make a decision. Celeb Poker offers the usual Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven card stud and Five card draw. Limits range from the low 5c up to $100. There are also tournaments, including freeroll tournaments that are not always available to others on the network, but exclusively to Celeb Poker.

The home page is quite busy, and can be a bit overwhelming at first as there are a number of pages to go into. However, the subsections are clearly labelled and it is fairly easy to find everything. The lobby graphics are clear showing the currency of the table, the type, stakes, players, wait, flop percentage, hands played, and average pot. Your balance and pending bonus can also be checked. The table graphics are good, with the focus being drawn to the table rather than the surroundings with are subtle but still clear.

Bonuses/Promotions
Celeb poker has a limited number of bonuses with no loyalty bonus scheme. There is a deposit bonus match of 25% up to a maximum of $100. This bonus however does have to be earned through raked hands. For every $50 you personally generate in rake, you will receive $10 back; this can take longer to do though than it sounds. There is also a Celeb Poker Tournament League where cash prizes can be won, and also points gained, whereby the winner of the points system can go on to win a spot at the WPT tournament in Las Vegas.

Rake
Celeb Poker takes a rake of 5% up to a maximum of $3.
