Rake back

Rake is the amount of money that the poker room takes from the pot every time a hand is played. This, along with tournament fees, is how they make their money. Most poker rooms will usually take between 0 and 5% of each pot and around 5% of tournament buy-ins. This is then attributed accordingly to each player in line with his / her activity. Rakeback is the portion of the rake that is given back to you either by the poker room or a rakeback affiliate. Your Rakeback (or rake rebate) is calculated by taking your MGR (Monthly Gross Rake) less any bonuses and charges. Multiply this total by your deal percentage to get your rakeback figure. For example, MGR=$800, bonuses=$50, deal rate=30%; rakeback = (800-50)*30% = $225.
